Direct Cinema Limited, Inc., of Santa Monica, California, are no longer licensed or authorized to distribute and sell our films. All sales enquiries should be made directly to CameraWork.
It is a breach of copyright for any party to sell, license or otherwise exploit the rights in the films, unless the seller or licensor has a written agreement with CameraWork.
CameraWork reserves the right to not sell or license the films, at its discretion.

Sales Policy

Our pricing structure is flexible - to take into account your intended use of the films and your ability to pay.

Some examples:

If you are a well-endowed university, college, library, or other government or commercial organization the cost would normally be either $ AUD 490 or $ AUD 330 - depending on the title and duration of the film. This price includes the Public Performance License fee and shipping of DVDs. At present, the three titles that attract the $ AUD 490 fee are: Half Life - A Parable for the Nuclear Age , "Cannibal Tours" and The Good Woman of Bangkok.
If you are a school, junior college, or non-profit organisation the price for the same rights would normally be either $ AUD 250 or $ AUD 150 - depending on the title and duration of the film.
If you wish to have a copy of the film/s for your personal use - then, in most cases, the cost would be $ AUD 75 (including shipping)
If you feel that you can use the film/s in support of a worthy cause, but you cannot afford the cost, please email us to discuss, and perhaps we can make a gift of the films to you.

We also give discounts if you purchase more than one title or more than one copy of any title.

In special circumstances, we will provide the films at a reduced price. Please contact us.

For universities, colleges, government departments and established corporate customers, we will supply films against your official order, and invoice you at the time of delivery, with payment to be made within 30 days. For most other customers we require you to pay before the films are shipped.

Sales & License Agreement

All purchasers are required to complete the Sales & License Agreement. Please print it out - either as a PDF or Word document; then return it either via email or fax.
